Lake Carl Blackwell
A family-friendly recreational retreat.
Oklahoma State University’s Lake Carl Blackwell is located a few miles west of our
Stillwater campus. The OSU Lake Carl Blackwell community welcomes visitors from all
walks of life, from our students, staff, and faculty to local residents and beyond!
With a plentiful amount of RV and tent sites, along with cabins, we have room for
everyone! The lake is perfect for excellent fishing, fun boating activities, and swimming
areas. Our substantial shoreline offers plenty of space for picnicking, beach volleyball,
equestrian trail riding, and other recreational activities. We are surrounded by wildlife,
including deer, who enjoy the serenity of these surroundings.
Additionally, we have a walking trail that is suitable for all abilities, a tournament
standard disc golf course, and 3 pavilions that can be rented for your events and
celebrations.
Our lakeside store, Cowboy Corner at Lake Carl Blackwell is also located on site for
your convenience.

There's a lot here. Well over 3,300 acres of water and hundreds of campsites, it
could be easy to get a little turned around.
