In celebration of the season, and in accordance with University policy, our office will be closed from Wednesday, December 24, 2025, and reopening Saturday, January 3, 2026.

 

As we approach our Christmas holiday break, please note that the following vault toilets will remain open for visitor use throughout the break:

  • Scissortail Campground
  • Beaver Cove Campground
  • Hunt’s Meadow (2)
  • Raccoon Ridge
  • Ski Point Pavilion
  • Main Boat Ramp

Please also note that the Trailhead Restroom will be closed during the break.


We hope this holiday season brings you joy, peace, and time with loved ones. Thank you for being a part of our community this year — we look forward to serving you in 2026!

Our mission at Oklahoma State University’s Lake Carl Blackwell is to provide safe educational and recreational experiences for our visitors and to uphold OSU’s mission to foster community across our lake grounds and beyond.

The quickest way to make your reservation is to head over to CampSpot. There, you can reserve RV/tent sites, a rustic, cozy cabin, a pavilion for your next gathering and lots more.

These campgrounds are leased annually. To find out more, please call 405.744.3855!

Permits

We have all of them! Dailys for picnicking, fishing, hiking, and swimming. Our Annual Permits are a great option for those of you that love spending time out here!

Campgrounds

Our nightly campgrounds are all unique and a perfect place to relax, unwind and get back to nature. Sunsets and deer are our favorite sights!

Cabins

Want to get away from the rush of everyday life and get comfortably immersed in nature? We have a selection of some of the coziest to pick from.

Amenities

We have many options for you! Along with fishing, equestrian trails, and picnicking as favorites, we also have boating, disc golf, hiking trails, a swimming beach and even bird watching!
